We currently have the following opportunity available in our Nisku facility:
Yard Swamper
This position is responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and well-organized pipe yard, loading and unloading of OCTG supplies. Roll and segregate pipe on racks for inspection and storage. Must be able to meet physical demands of repetitive pushing, pulling and lifting more than 50lbs on a daily basis. Year round outdoor working conditions.
You will possess the following experience/qualifications:
- A minimum of six months experience within a related industry, preferably oil and gas
- Building and maintaining relationships
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to adhere to both Health and Safety Policies, and Drug and Alcohol policies
- Ability to push and pull very heavy pipe. Strong upper body strength is an asset for this role.
Compensation/Benefits:
- $21.00/hr to start (increases after 3 month probation)
- Health and Dental beenfits are 100% company paid, and begin after 3 months.
