Psychologists’ Association of Alberta logo

Hallmark has been recognized by the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta as a 2017 PAA Psychologically Healthy Workplace Initiative Award recipient. The award is designed to recognize companies that create workplaces that foster employee health and wellbeing. Hallmark is a company that “appreciates their staff by valuing diversity and life experiences, recognizing initiative and rewarding talent and loyalty” (PAA press release). This has been one of the foundations of Hallmark’s culture for many years and we are appreciative and proud of this recognition.

Hallmark believes in the importance of protecting our environment. As part of Hallmark’s overall HSEQ goal of protecting the health and safety of our employees as well as the environment, we are committed to exceeding the requirements of federal, provincial and municipal legislation relating to environmental regulations.

To meet these goals our policies include waste management, prevention of contaminants released into the environment, incident response procedures, recycling, and training. Hallmark has developed strategies to reduce waste, encourage the use of environmentally friendly products and fully eliminate the unintentional release of harmful materials for which a ‘Zero’ Target has been set. Hallmark’s vehicles and equipment are on a rigorous preventative maintenance plan for ensuring efficient and environmentally friendly operation.

Hallmark Tubulars Ltd. is pleased to announce the acquisition of two (2) tubular running services businesses in Western Canada – Canarctic Inc., based out of Vermillion, AB; and Davy Crockett’s Oilfield Services Ltd., based out of Valleyview, AB.

These acquisitions will substantially augment Hallmark’s existing tubular running operations in Nisku, AB and Bonnyville, AB through the addition of all the employees of both companies, an enlarged equipment fleet and the expanded geographic coverage.

Both acquired operations will continue to offer the same exceptional level of service that their customers have come to expect, while operating as divisions of Hallmark Tubulars Ltd.

The combination of its existing tubular running services operation and these acquisitions will further enable Hallmark to provide E&P companies with a full service offering and consistent expert quality solutions for all their tubular running requirements across the WCSB.

Hallmark Tubulars Ltd. has been a supplier of OCTG and Linepipe products for over 30 years. It offers its clients a comprehensive integrated Mill to Wellbore™ solution. Its field services division, Hallmark Technical Services, provides tubular running services across Western Canada including Power Tongs, Thread Supervision, Computer Torque Monitoring, Casing Running Tools, Catwalk Laydowns, Bucking Services and Casing Cleaning.

Alberta Flood Relief

Hallmark Helps | Hands in the Water

Hallmark will be volunteering with various organizations over the coming months to aid in flood relief across Southern Alberta. Our employees will team up from our Nisku, Bonnyville and Calgary offices, working in Siksika, High River, Canmore and Calgary alongside Samaritan’s Purse, Friends of Kananaskis, the Canadian Red Cross, The Mustard Seed, Heaven Can Wait and the Calgary Food Bank. We are glad to play our small part in restoring hope and rebuilding the surrounding communities.

Hallmark Tubulars Ltd signs Agreement with Aboriginal Group in the Northwest Territories

Hallmark Tubulars is proud to announce the recent execution of its agreement with MacKay Expediting and Logistics (MXL) for exclusive representation of Hallmark’s goods and services by MXL in the Tulita District of the Sahtu Settlement Area in the Northwest Territories. MXL, as a wholly owned aboriginal business with its major shareholders based in Tulita, NT, is the ideal partner for Hallmark in regards to our corporate mission and values as it relates to distributing energy tubulars, related accessories and installation services in the Tulita District.

The agreement between Hallmark and MXL is further evidence of Hallmark’s firm commitment to providing value-add solutions to customers, maximizing benefits to local communities and their residents, and forging mutually beneficial relationships at all levels of the supply chain for energy tubulars.

 

September 20, 2011

Hallmark is pleased to share that we have reached 365 days without a Recordable Incident across all divisions at Hallmark. All crews and operational managers as well as HSE staff ensured safety processes and safe work procedures were followed, and safety and safe work training was delivered to the highest standard right from the senior hand down to the green hand. This is an important milestone for Hallmark as it is a testimony to the safety culture in existence with our management, field hands and yard crews.
